How from Tarragona
June 17th, 2008My sec blog introduction. Sitting down here in Calle Cosine del Bou in Tarragona. We exhausted 2 very acute and interesting hours in Barcelona. Barcelona is an outstanding urban center with so a lot of sight to understand. The Barrio Gotico (Gothic Quarter) with the older cathedral, the new restituted waterfront with the Statue of Capital of Ohio, La Sagrada Familia, the computer architecture by Antoni Gaudi i Cornet (La Pedrera, Casa Battlo, Parc Guell, La Sagrada Famila), the Olympic Parkland.
The topography is outstanding, on one face is the Mediterranean, on the West face is the mound Montjuic and on the North face is Climbed Tibidabo, the eminent mount commanding the metropolis with an entertainment park and a beautiful Christian church on top.
We over up purchasing a 2-day ticket for the Charabanc Turistico (20 Euros for 2 hours, 16 Euros for 1 twenty) and sat the blue, red and green argumentation of the motorbus, natural covering all the major sight. We too occupied the Cable tramway Azul and the Funicular to the top of Riding horse Tibidabo.
A outstanding metropolis. Enormous night life, although we are not club departers, the activeness and hustle and bustle until late in the nighttime are outstanding. La Rambla is simply total of citizenry and citizenry of all ages are taking the air in the Barrio Gotico and as a holidaymaker you feel altogether safe. Lots of amusement, we even saw a live concert in front end of the older cathedral (La Seu) where citizenry were dance the Sardana, a traditional Catalan dance.
Today we have simply arived in Tarragona and do a small taking the air about this older Roman townspeople earlier we head farther South on the seashore. Next report to postdate…
