That’s what researchers observed late when they tried the neural activity of survey participants after screening them expensive and cheap vinos.
The effects presented increased brain activity in the the median orbitofrontal cerebral mantle - an country of the brain considered to encode pleasure related to to savor, scents and euphony - when participants savoured “pricy” wines.
